The Supreme Court decision in Citizen’s United opened the door to unlimited money in political campaigns from corporations and wealthy individuals. While the ruling stated that the Super PACs that were created as a result must disclose their donors and the amount they donated, the groups are already finding loopholes in the process. If the candidate is elected and Super PACs helped, there will be pressure to pay back these people with favorable legislation, government support, and lower regulation. Therefore, disclosure must be open and immediate, and we all must pay attentions.
