During an election year whenever the weather is really bad in Washington DC politicians come out to California where there is a good bit of money in places like San Diego, Orange County, Silicon Valley, LA, and San Francisco to kill two-birds with one stone. First, to warm up, and secondly, perhaps more importantly, to ensure their future in politics by collecting massive amounts of campaign contributions from some of the wealthiest folks on the West Coast. Surprise, surprise right?
