Government cannot provide rights to the people; it can only protect their transcendent, natural rights by protecting their liberty. But today, there are more people who believe that liberty comes from government, or that rights come from government, than any other idea about government. You cannot value a liberty you do not understand. If you do not value it, you will not be willing to pay a price to preserve it, and you cannot preserve a liberty you do not understand.

History is said to repeat itself overtime, especially in the Indian subcontinent. Aside from the Middle East, which is the focal point of current race of major countries to grab dependable oil sources in the coming years, the Indian subcontinent is equally explosive in terms of potentially causing another world war if left unabated. India and Pakistan, formerly components of the original country of India, are currently engaged in an apparent arms race. Both countries are simply a stone’s throw away from each other, and both of them are trying to overtake one another in bolstering their armed forces year after year.

I’m not advocating text/driving. It’s dangerous. Before it was against the law, people did it, they had accidents, and some people even died. I am, however, suggesting that there are better ways to attack such a problem than to make a law against it. And this new study proves I’m right. If even one more person died in a traffic fatality because of this law, it’s too many.
